Model Lab
What's in Model Lab's Built-In Library?
A large ready-to-use library of models and scenes, available from day one.
Model Lab ships with a large built-in library of ready-to-use models and scenes, spanning Stocktree's model diversity range, so every Model Lab feature works immediately without needing a Template or any extra setup.
What's in the Library
- Ready-to-use models across a wide range of diversity, skin tone, and body type.
- Plain scene images available directly inside Design Product Generation for mockup-style use.

How This Differs From Templates
The built-in library gives you single-function starting points — a model to try a garment on, a scene for a mockup. Templates (Phase 2) are composed, multi-function deliverables built on top of Model Lab results, not a replacement for this library.
How Do I Use Virtual Try-On Fashion?
Put your garment on a ready-to-use model, no photoshoot required.
Virtual Try-On Fashion comes with a large built-in library of ready-to-use models, so you can generate a try-on result immediately after uploading your garment.
Before You Start
- Upload a clear, flat, or hanging photo of your garment for the most accurate fit and drape in the result.
Generate a Try-On
- Go to Model Lab → Virtual Try-On Fashion.
- Upload a clear photo of your garment.
- Choose a ready-to-use model — filter by diversity, skin tone, or body type to match your target customer.
- Choose a pose.
- Generate and review how the fabric fits and drapes.

Choosing a Model
Filter the model picker by diversity, skin tone, and body type to reflect your actual target customer for more relatable, effective marketing.
Common Questions
Can I generate the same garment on multiple models?
Yes — regenerate with a different model selected to see the same garment across your full range of model diversity.
Can I change the model's pose after generating?
Yes — send your result to Model Pose Generation to place the same model and outfit into a new pose without starting over.

How Do I Use Design Product Generation?
Place your logo or design onto a plain, ready-made mockup scene.
Design Product Generation gives you a plain, ready-made model or scene image, and lets you place your own logo or design directly onto it — ideal for branding mockups on blank apparel, packaging, or similar products.
Create a Mockup
- Go to Model Lab → Design Product Generation.
- Choose a plain model or scene image from the built-in library.
- Upload your logo, artwork, or design.
- Position and scale it onto the product in the scene.
- Generate and review your mockup.

Common Questions
Can I use my own blank product photo instead of Stocktree's scene library?
The built-in plain scenes are optimized for accurate placement and lighting, but this is the fastest way to get a professional mockup without your own blank-product photoshoot.

Yes — Angle View Generation keeps background and lighting consistent across the set so the angles look like one cohesive photoshoot.
How Do I Use Model Pose Generation?
Repose a model without regenerating the outfit from scratch.
Model Pose Generation lets you place a model — including a model from a previous Virtual Try-On result — into a different pose without re-uploading or regenerating the garment or product.
Change a Model's Pose
- Go to Model Lab → Model Pose Generation.
- Select the model image you want to repose.
- Choose a preset pose, or adjust joint points manually.
- Generate and review.

How Do I Use Fashion Model Extraction?
Cut a model out cleanly for reuse elsewhere.
Fashion Model Extraction isolates just the model from a generated or uploaded image, cutting them out cleanly from their background so they can be reused elsewhere.
Extract a Model
- Go to Model Lab → Fashion Model Extraction.
- Select the image containing the model you want to extract.
- Generate — Stocktree isolates the model with a clean, transparent background.
- Export or send the extracted model to Media Library for reuse.
