How Do I Use Video Generator?

Create a short product video from a text prompt, or animate between a start and end image.

Video Generator turns your product photo into a short video clip. There are two ways to generate: describe the motion you want in words (Text-to-Video), or supply a starting and ending image and let Stocktree animate the transition between them (Image-to-Video).

Before You Start

  • Video generation uses more credits than a typical image generation, and takes longer to process — see Why Is My Generation Taking So Long? if a video seems slow.

Text-to-Video

  1. Upload your product photo.
  2. Select Generator → Text-to-Video.
  3. Write a prompt describing the subject, action, scene, lighting, and camera movement.
  4. Choose your clip duration and aspect ratio.
  5. Generate and preview your video.

Image-to-Video (First Frame–Last Frame)

This mode gives you precise control over a video's beginning and end, rather than describing the motion in words alone.

  1. Generate or upload your starting image (the "first frame").
  2. Generate or upload your ending image (the "last frame").
  3. Submit both to Image-to-Video.
  4. Stocktree animates a smooth, realistic transition between the two states.

Choosing Between the Two Modes

  • Use Text-to-Video when you know the motion you want but don't have a specific end state in mind.
  • Use Image-to-Video when you already know exactly how the video should start and end — for example, a before/after transformation or a product reveal.

Common Questions

How long are the generated video clips?

Short-form clips suited to social and marketplace use. Exact supported durations are shown in the duration selector when you generate.

Can I use a Generator image result as my first or last frame?

Yes — any image generated in the Workspace, or uploaded to Media Library, can be used as a start or end frame for Image-to-Video.
