A Quick Tour of the Workspace

The shared editing environment behind Generator, Magic Edit, and Model Lab.

The Workspace is where all generation and editing happens. It's shared across Generator, Magic Edit, and Model Lab, so the core layout stays consistent no matter which feature you're using.

Top Tab Bar

Switch between Generator, Magic Edit, and Model Lab without losing your current file.

Canvas

Your main working area, showing the current image or video you're generating or editing.

Tool Panel

Feature-specific controls for whichever tool is currently active.

Layers Panel

See and manage every element in your current composition.

Export Panel

Download your finished result, or send it to Media Library.

How Do I Upload or Input an Asset in the Workspace?

Bring a product photo into the Workspace to start generating or editing.

Upload a New File

1. Click Upload, or drag and drop your file directly onto the canvas.
2. Confirm the file meets format and resolution requirements.
3. Your asset appears on the canvas and in the Layers panel, ready to use with any Generator, Magic Edit, or Model Lab tool.

Start From an Existing File

You can also start from anything already saved in your Media Library instead of uploading a new file — open Media Library and click Use in Workspace on any item.

Common Questions

What file types and quality work best?

JPG, PNG, and WEBP are supported. Aim for at least 1000×1000px, even lighting, and your product fully in frame for the sharpest results across every Workspace feature.

Basic Workspace Navigation

Zoom, pan, and select your way around the canvas.

Zoom and Pan

• Zoom in and out using the on-canvas controls or your trackpad/scroll wheel.
• Pan around the canvas by holding the space bar and dragging, or using the hand tool.

Selecting Layers

• Click any layer on the canvas to select it.
• Double-click to open that layer's editing controls directly.
