How Do I Use Image Generator?

Turn a product photo into a new image using a prompt, a chosen style, and your own settings.

Image Generator creates a new image of your product from a prompt, in the style you choose. Use it whenever you need a fresh product shot, a new background, or a completely different visual treatment from your original photo.

Before You Start

Have a clear, well-lit source photo of your product ready to upload.

  • Generating an image uses credits from your plan — the exact cost depends on the style you choose, and is shown before you generate. See How Many Credits Does Each Feature Use? for details.

Generate an Image

Upload your product photo in the Workspace.

  1. Select Generator from the top tab bar.
  2. Describe the scene, setting, or look you want in the prompt box.
  3. Choose a style (see Choose Your Style below).
  4. Click Generate and review your result.

Choose Your Style

Six styles are available, each suited to a different look. Click the style selector in the Generator panel to switch between them.

  • Basic — fast, general-purpose results; a good default starting point.
  • Photographic — realistic, camera-like studio photos for standard listings.
  • Enhance — improves an existing photo's quality without changing its composition.
  • Cinematic — dramatic, editorial mood for hero shots and campaigns.
  • 3D Model — CGI-rendered look, popular for tech and electronics.
  • Anime — stylized, illustrated look for pop-culture or novelty content.

Set Aspect Ratio and Output Size

Pick a ratio like 1:1, 4:5, or 9:16 from the Workspace settings panel, or leave it matched to your uploaded photo.

Refine or Regenerate Your Result

  • Click Regenerate for a fresh take on the same prompt and style.
  • Click Generate Variations to produce several options at once, shown side by side.
  • Send your result to Magic Edit for targeted touch-ups instead of regenerating the whole image.

Common Questions

Which style should I start with if I'm not sure?

Start with Basic. It's the fastest, most general-purpose option and a good baseline before trying a more specific style like Photographic or Cinematic.

Can I use Enhance on a photo that wasn't generated by Stocktree?

Yes — Enhance works on any uploaded photo, including ones from your own camera or a previous photoshoot.

Why does my result look different from what I described?

Some variance is normal for generative AI. Be as specific as possible about product details, setting, and lighting, and use Generate Variations to compare a few interpretations before picking the best one.
